Hands-on Senior Data Engineer responsible for migrating pipelines from Informatica to Azure Data Factory on a Snowflake-centric stack. Administer Linux and Windows Server environments across large-scale enterprise infrastructure. Responsibilities include kernel and system troubleshooting, OS performance tuning, security hardening, vulnerability remediation, patching, VM provisioning, monitoring, incident response, and 24/7 on-call production support. The role also automates administration with scripting, supports VMware and hybrid cloud environments, maintains runbooks, and improves operational procedures across distributed datacenter and edge locations.

Build and maintain Chef- and Ansible-based configuration management and infrastructure automation across a 2,000+ server environment. Provision and orchestrate infrastructure, develop CI/CD pipelines, and automate repetitive operational tasks. The role also involves scripting with Python, Bash, and PowerShell; potential Azure infrastructure-as-code, monitoring integrations, VMware automation, and pull-request-based workflows.
