Plans, develops, and optimizes manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency. Designs manufacturing fixtures and tools, evaluates equipment and tooling, implements process controls, oversees equipment installation, documents procedures, analyzes layouts and workflows, estimates production requirements and costs, and applies statistical methods to support future manufacturing needs.

The Kaizen Engineer drives continuous improvement in manufacturing by improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, designing or modifying mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting breakdowns, building control systems, and optimizing production processes. The role also performs metal fabrication, industrial electrical and mechanical repairs, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional project communication on the production floor.
