Teams at Atomic Machines

Design, build, document, and troubleshoot electrical integration for custom manufacturing equipment. Integrate sensors, actuators, electronics, wiring, firmware, and mechanical subsystems; develop interconnects, fixtures, cable assemblies, and test setups; support prototype bring-up and validation; and create ICDs, cable drawings, work instructions, and procedures. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, embedded systems, and manufacturing engineers to deliver reliable, serviceable electromechanical designs.

Own end-to-end electrical test development for novel micromachine devices, including test strategy, precision measurement, instrumentation, PCB design, firmware, mechanical fixtures, and production integration. Develop error budgets, validate data quality, document systems, and improve reliability and throughput while balancing accuracy, cost, scalability, and speed. Collaborate with device, manufacturing, and product teams to translate ambiguous requirements into measurable specifications and robust test systems.

Manage PLM document control in Arena: create/update/release drawings, SOPs, and manufacturing instructions; perform QA checks; route ECOs; maintain templates and naming conventions; produce work instructions and onboarding materials; perform light CAD tasks in Onshape; audit and improve documentation and workflows.
