Responsibilities include process improvement, metallurgical analysis, thermal/deformation modeling, nonconformance resolution, scrap reduction, continuous improvement, customer support, and new product/process development. Collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Product Engineering, and R&D to improve safety, yield, cost, cycle time, equipment performance, and product quality.

Evaluates and eliminates production losses involving utilization, yield, uptime, and equipment reliability. Analyzes operational data and logs, identifies trends, prioritizes corrective actions, leads root cause analyses and equipment criticality assessments, and collaborates with reliability and operations teams on performance improvements. The role also supports turnaround planning, evaluates improvement proposals, monitors reliability program effectiveness, and provides subject matter expertise for continuous improvement initiatives.

Provides technical and manufacturing process support for compaction, electron beam welding, and arc melting operations. Resolves production and equipment issues, leads root-cause analysis and continuous improvement, establishes process standards and performance metrics, supports capital projects, audits compliance, and develops work instructions and quality documentation. Collaborates with engineering, quality, safety, and unionized production teams in an industrial manufacturing environment.
