Conduct quantitative research and statistical analysis of baseball players, teams, and strategies. Build predictive and evaluation models using Statcast, traditional statistics, tracking data, and proprietary datasets. Translate analytical findings into recommendations for scouting, player development, roster construction, and game strategy. Collaborate with baseball staff, communicate technical concepts clearly, monitor league trends, and support data-driven decision-making across Baseball Operations.

Designs, develops, tests, and maintains scalable web applications and enterprise software for Baseball Operations. Responsibilities include .NET development, responsive front-end interfaces, RESTful API integration, SQL Server optimization, automated testing, troubleshooting, code reviews, technical mentoring, documentation, and architecture improvements. The role supports critical business operations, including non-traditional schedules, events, Spring Training, conferences, and game operations travel.

Leads the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data architecture, including warehouses, lakes, lakehouses, operational platforms, and ETL/ELT pipelines. Manages and mentors data team members, guides cloud and technology decisions, and collaborates with Baseball Research and Development teams to optimize data storage, quality, querying, and delivery. Supports advanced data models, AI-enabled architectures, large datasets, and reporting platforms while accommodating nontraditional schedules and travel.
