Supports civil design engineers on utility and transmission projects by organizing engineering data, assisting with procurement and design documentation, preparing drawings, conducting structural analysis, updating asset databases, reviewing consultant scopes, incorporating field markups, and occasionally verifying designs in the field.

Supports utility vegetation management through field inspections, vegetation-condition documentation, GIS map and record updates, contractor oversight observation, and exposure to integrated vegetation management and regulatory standards. The internship provides outdoor, hands-on experience connecting environmental practices, sustainability, compliance, and electric-grid reliability.

Lead strategic planning, coordination, and execution of a long-term utility asset renewal program and rolling 10-year capital investment strategy. Coordinate engineering, construction, operations, finance, supply chain, and leadership stakeholders. Manage portfolio governance, prioritization, risk, funding, schedules, dashboards, forecasts, and executive reporting while addressing project interdependencies, resource constraints, constructability, outages, environmental factors, and regulatory requirements.
