Teams at Astronomer

Lead technical sales activities including discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and architecture discussions. Translate customer data challenges into technical solutions using Python, Airflow, and related tools. Advise customers on DataOps, orchestration, observability, and automation while collaborating with account executives, product teams, and other stakeholders. The role is based in London and requires regular travel to France.

Operate and improve customers’ managed Airflow environments, focusing on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, monitoring, incident response, automation, and reliability. Troubleshoot customer issues, build observability and alerting systems, contribute to product architecture, maintain documentation, meet SLAs, and participate in pager and paid on-call rotations.

Hunt and close new enterprise accounts (1000+ employees) in the Northeastern US. Lead full sales cycle from prospecting to close, deliver demos and tailored proposals, collaborate with marketing/sales engineering/product, expand existing customers, and travel periodically. Hybrid role (3 days/week in Boston or NYC).
