Teams at Astronomer

Build and ship full-stack features for Astro across web, backend services, and APIs. Write, test, and maintain frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Go/TypeScript/Python) code, participate in code reviews and on-call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, document work, and collaborate with senior engineers to deliver production-ready software.

Build and maintain core platform systems powering Astro's public API, authentication, billing, and alerting. Design scalable backend services, collaborate with product and frontend teams, improve platform reliability, and contribute to architecture and operational practices.

Provide expert Apache Airflow support to customers, troubleshoot and optimize Airflow deployments, work with Kubernetes and cloud providers, collaborate with customers and engineering, maintain pager/on-call coverage, and contribute to open-source and internal projects.
