Responsibilities include defining specifications, qualifying vendors through audits and builds, leading DFM reviews, establishing supplier phase gates and incoming inspection procedures, reviewing quality documentation, and leading root-cause analysis and corrective actions. The role requires technical collaboration, critical decision-making, extended hours, and travel to suppliers 40% or more of the time.

Supports the design, integration, commissioning, and operation of automated test systems for spacecraft hardware and ground-support equipment. Works with electrical controls, sensors, actuators, relays, power distribution, data acquisition, safety interlocks, test automation software, and telemetry pipelines. Collaborates with environmental test, mechanical, electrical, reliability, manufacturing, and software teams in laboratory and factory environments.
