Develops, maintains, and monitors professional certification examinations. Facilitates competency modeling, item-writing, standard-setting, and review workshops with subject matter experts. Manages exam blueprints, item banks, vendors, translations, schedules, and publishing preparation. Analyzes exam and item performance to maintain validity, reliability, quality, and security. Supports certification boards, project reporting, stakeholder communication, and compliance with legal defensibility and program policies.

Directs the strategic development, pricing, delivery, and revenue performance of conferences, exhibitions, and sponsorships. Leads event roadmaps, content development, sponsorship strategies, partnerships, volunteer committees, budgets, cross-functional product coordination, and staff supervision. The role researches industry models, improves event effectiveness, and represents the organization with members, customers, volunteers, and partners. Travel is expected and a passport is required.

Leads AMPP’s global standards portfolio and Technical Engagement functions, overseeing standards quality, modernization, adoption, revenue growth, volunteer participation, and international relevance. Directs standards operations, technical teams, budgets, performance metrics, cross-functional initiatives, and stakeholder relationships. Develops portfolio strategy, improves standards processes, advances machine-readable formats, and represents AMPP with industry, government, academic, and standards organizations. Requires significant senior leadership experience in standards development, technical operations, association management, or related fields, with substantial travel.
