Teams at Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC)

Supports private education loan partnership and vendor operations, including Advisory Committee coordination, program metrics, communications, conferences, and marketing alignment. Develops and maintains financial wellness, credit counseling, and debt management resources for medical students and financial aid professionals. Advises on MedLoans Organizer and Calculator, monitors trends in medical education financing, and manages FIRST program communications. Requires higher education financial aid, student lending, student loan servicing, or financial services experience.

Leads federal government relations and advocacy initiatives involving medical research, public health, higher education, Veterans Affairs, and appropriations. Develops legislative analysis and strategy, advises senior leadership, manages major coalitions, engages Congress and federal agencies, coordinates cross-functional policy efforts, oversees advocacy communications, and mentors staff. The role also leads policy projects, working groups, congressional briefings, and coalition newsletters.
