Leads clinical and hospital operations across the Emergency Department, Medical Surgical Unit, swing beds, and Operating Room. Oversees patient care coordination, supports clinical staff, resolves operational issues, collaborates with physicians and departments, improves patient outcomes and satisfaction, and provides direct patient care as needed.

Provides professional nursing care in a medical-surgical unit, coordinates care planning with other disciplines, and oversees quality patient care delivery. This is a full-time night-shift position requiring work every third weekend and holiday. The nurse must maintain Michigan licensure, obtain BLS/ACLS within six months if needed, and complete DIMS or CAMMP within one year of hire.

Handles timely and accurate patient account billing, prepares UB-04 and CMS-1500 claims, researches unpaid or incorrect claims, submits insurance appeals, follows up on accounts, responds to patient inquiries, and processes payments and adjustments using medical billing and coding systems.
