Executes and interprets biodistribution and gene expression studies for gene therapy programs. Develops, optimizes, and troubleshoots qPCR, ddPCR, RT-qPCR, and related molecular assays; analyzes tissue and biofluid data; assesses vector genomes, transgene expression, dose, tissue, and timepoint relationships; and communicates findings supporting candidate selection, dosing, safety assessment, preclinical development, and regulatory submissions.

Lead translational medicine pathology and nonclinical safety for gene therapy programs. Act as PI for pathology in GLP/non-GLP studies, provide histopathology and peer review, interpret nonclinical data, guide study design and regulatory submissions, manage internal pathology staff, and collaborate cross-functionally with discovery, development, clinical, and regulatory teams.

Lead analytical control strategies and lifecycle management for gene therapy products. Develop, validate, transfer, and troubleshoot complex bioanalytical methods (PCR/ddPCR, ELISA, NGS, HPLC, AUC, cell-based assays). Oversee tech transfers with CDMOs/CROs, support quality investigations and CAPAs, author regulatory submission sections, and drive analytical innovation, automation, and inspection readiness across programs.
