Coordinates governance meetings, volunteer leader support, board and committee logistics, notices, materials, attendance, minutes, action items, calendars, travel, elections, appointments, and records management. Supports ASCO Presidents, Annual Meeting activities, and governance initiatives while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and strong service. The hybrid role requires occasional early mornings and evenings, onsite meeting support, and residence within 75 miles of Alexandria, Virginia.

Associate Counsel will advise ASCO and its affiliates on employment, employee benefits, compliance, contracts, and business matters. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements; conducting legal research; preparing legal memoranda; supporting HR-related matters; advising internal clients; and maintaining relationships with designated departments. The role requires collaboration with senior attorneys and supports strategic initiatives, international program expansion, licensing, meetings, and other organizational programs.
