Researches, analyzes, bills, and collects patient accounts throughout the revenue cycle. Performs eligibility and benefits checks, follows up on unpaid claims, researches and appeals denials, resolves rejections and underpayments, interprets payer remittances, and contacts payers regarding claim status. Maintains knowledge of managed care, Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA requirements while identifying root causes of claim exceptions and resolving outstanding balances.

Manages patient accounts receivable throughout the revenue cycle, including eligibility checks, billing, collections, claim follow-up, denial research and appeals, payment analysis, and resolution of underpayments or rejected claims. Maintains compliance with payer regulations, Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA while identifying root causes and escalating complex issues. This hybrid position requires working two to three days weekly in the Colorado Springs office.

Handle high-volume inbound/outbound calls and emails for clinical clients (dialysis clinics), communicate urgent lab results, meet contact-center metrics, document interactions, process lab forms and draw entries, resolve service issues using critical thinking, and maintain professional composure onsite.
