The role requires coordination with operations, maintenance, vendors, and contractors while ensuring safety, technical compliance, cost control, and schedule adherence.

Provides mechanical engineering input and site oversight for mining projects, including design reviews, procurement support, contractor supervision, equipment installation, testing, commissioning, inspections, documentation, and handover. Coordinates with operations, maintenance, vendors, and contractors while supporting safe, cost-effective delivery within schedule and budget. Requires expertise in rotating and static equipment, piping, structural steelwork, mechanical drafting, and mineral processing environments.

Implements gender-responsive and socially inclusive resettlement activities for project-affected communities. The role supports compensation, relocation, livelihood restoration, stakeholder engagement, grievance resolution, vulnerability safeguarding, gender-disaggregated data collection, and compliance with IFC Performance Standard 5 and Ghanaian mining regulations. It also leads Gender Action Plan activities, advocates for women and vulnerable groups, mentors affected businesses, and reports social performance indicators.
