Design and analyze complex mechanical systems from concept through production, overseeing fabrication, assembly, validation testing, failure analysis, and documentation. The engineer will use CAD and analysis tools, supervise vendors, support qualification testing, improve engineering processes, and guide less-experienced engineers. The role requires hands-on prototyping, fabrication equipment use, outdoor testing, and occasional travel.
