Provides basic patient care in a podiatry clinic by obtaining and documenting vitals, performing bedside testing and routine nursing procedures, maintaining clean examination areas, managing equipment and supplies, and completing basic clerical tasks. Requires patient confidentiality, safety compliance, and awareness of age-specific needs. High school education, specialized basic patient-care training, and formal nursing assistant or medical assistant training are required.

Provides direct medical-surgical nursing care using the nursing process, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, education, documentation, and safety practices. Supports patients and families with empathy, assists with staff orientation and cross-functional duties, responds appropriately to clinical concerns, and maintains confidentiality. Requires an accredited nursing degree, an active New Mexico or compact RN license, and BLS certification.

Serves as the liaison between clinical operations and IT, supporting and optimizing EHR workflows across hospital and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include EHR troubleshooting, configuration, testing, upgrades, user training, go-live support, reporting, data validation, regulatory compliance, privacy, security, and clinical governance. The specialist partners with providers, nurses, leadership, vendors, and IT to improve documentation quality, patient safety, workflow efficiency, and system adoption.
