Lead and support general ledger accounting activities including full-cycle month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, financial reporting and analytics, and audit support. Manage transaction documentation and internal controls, supervise staff accountants, and participate in training and process improvement efforts.

Prepare financial reports, maintain transaction documentation and internal controls, mentor staff accountants, and participate in ongoing training and process improvements.

Provide workers' compensation risk management to assigned members, conducting annual safety inspections, attending safety committees, delivering trainings (virtual and in-person), identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions, and producing reports and occasional safety articles while collaborating with underwriting, claims, and marketing teams.
