Conduct independent research on neuro-immune interactions and autoimmunity in neurological disease using human patient samples, CRISPR screens, phage display, immune repertoire sequencing, and computational tools. Design and analyze experiments, publish high-impact research, present at conferences, mentor trainees, maintain rigorous records, and contribute to lab operations and collaborative scientific activities.

Serve as a scientific and strategic partner to the Executive Director, synthesizing technical information, owning the directors operating rhythm, driving cross-disciplinary scientific programs from inception to execution, facilitating collaborations, preparing high-quality meeting materials and external communications, and handling confidential organizational and scientific matters with discretion.

Serve as Arc Institute’s strategic legal advisor, leading legal strategy for collaborations, partnerships, governance, compliance, regulatory, risk, and institutional arrangements. Oversee agreements, negotiations, business development support, legal processes, outside counsel, and a small legal team including IP and licensing. Provide practical counsel to senior scientific and operational leaders while enabling responsible institutional growth.
