Teams at Aquatic Capital Management

Design, build, maintain, and expand research, corporate, and low-latency production trading networks across global offices. Responsibilities include multicast market-data distribution, exchange connectivity, HPC and GPU-grid networking, monitoring, packet capture, infrastructure-as-code automation, network change management, and occasional datacenter operations. The role collaborates with Infrastructure, Research, Engineering, and Datacenter teams to deliver scalable, repeatable network designs.

Build and operate the production platform that deploys code, models, and data into global live trading systems. Own build and release tooling, deployment orchestration, observability, rollback, alerting, failure recovery, and automation. Partner with research, engineering, and trading operations teams to improve reliability, eliminate manual processes, and establish maintainable engineering standards using Python and distributed-systems technologies.

The Systems Engineer will manage and improve the compute infrastructure for research and trading at Aquatic, focusing on HPC, storage systems, developer experience, and providing mentorship.
