Operates and maintains tufting and sock-knitting equipment by loading yarn, threading needles, rethreading breaks, replacing needles, monitoring machine performance, and changing backing materials. Operates sample dyeing, extraction, and drying equipment, performs housekeeping, follows safety and environmental procedures, and handles heavy objects. Requires basic tufting knowledge, familiarity with air splicing and rethreading, communication skills, basic arithmetic, and email proficiency.

Engineering Interns support industrial improvement and expansion projects by verifying CAD dimensions with physical measurements, designing HVAC and oil heating system layouts, performing power and fluid-flow calculations, preparing purchase order requests, organizing engineering files, and creating spreadsheets for machine parts and wiring. The role also involves identifying process improvements, applying root cause analysis, and following recycling and environmental management policies.
