Summer internship program offering hands-on project experience across applications, electrical, mechanical, research and development, human resources, information services, and marketing. Interns manage assigned projects, collaborate with mentors and managers, and present their contributions at the program’s conclusion. Responsibilities vary by department and may include engineering design, PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, IT support, recruiting, marketing events, wastewater research, data analysis, and pilot studies. The role is onsite in Loves Park, Illinois, requires 40 hours weekly, and may lead to part-time remote work during the academic year.

The Electrical Designer reviews customer submittal drawings, creates and releases electrical drawings and parts, develops bills of material and operation and maintenance manual content, and ensures equipment specification compliance. The role issues engineering change orders, coordinates with Mechanical Engineering, works with vendors on components and quotes, and provides technical support to customers, sales, customer service, and manufacturing. This is an onsite position in Loves Park, Illinois.
