Develop and scale a high-performance robotics simulation platform supporting reinforcement learning, controls validation, perception testing, and CI/CD. Build cloud-native parallel simulation pipelines, improve sim-to-real transfer through contact and actuator modeling, create sensor-realistic environments, and collaborate with Controls, AI Research, and Perception teams. The role requires strong C++ or Python skills, robotics fundamentals, modern simulator experience, distributed computing knowledge, and experience with large-scale cloud training workloads.

Opportunities span perception, sensing, control, dynamics, software systems, hardware, and mechatronics, involving technologies such as computer vision, SLAM, reinforcement learning, ROS, C++, Python, embedded systems, and mechanical design. Roles support development and commercialization of the Apollo humanoid robot.

Own global sourcing strategy and supplier relationships for electronics commodities, including PCB, PCBA, harnesses, compute hardware, sensors, and components. Lead RFQs, negotiations, contracts, should-cost modeling, cost reduction, supplier qualification, dual sourcing, supply-risk mitigation, and NPI readiness. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management to support prototype through volume production while managing capacity, lifecycle, compliance, and supplier performance.
