Lead continuous improvement for the Apollo humanoid robot by identifying design and manufacturing bottlenecks, conducting root cause analysis, optimizing mechanical designs, and developing components and subsystems. Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to improve reliability, manufacturability, cost, assembly, testing, and quality. Document changes, prototype and test solutions, establish best practices, and mentor junior engineers.

Develop and maintain real-time firmware for humanoid robot actuation, including BLDC motor control, field-oriented control, current and torque loops, fault recovery, and hardware bring-up. The role covers system identification, controller tuning, HIL/SIL testing, telemetry, diagnostics, reliability analysis, and production deployment. Collaboration with controls, electrical, mechanical, systems, and software teams is required, along with participation in design reviews and firmware architecture decisions.

As a Staff MLOps Engineer, you will lead the architecture of the MLOps platform, manage dataset lifecycle, model registry, and ensure quality and deployment of models to robots.
