Applied Technical Services (ATS) Benefits Overview

Manages client cases from intake through completion and closure, serving as the primary liaison between engineers, attorneys, law firms, insurers, TPAs, and other clients. Responsibilities include project scoping, estimates, billing reviews, case-file management, deadline tracking, scheduling inspections and legal proceedings, quality assurance, and handling urgent requests in a high-volume environment.

Prepares incoming materials for testing or refined cuts using saws and assists with manual milling and lathe operations. Reviews cut sheets and specimen numbers, sorts excess material, determines disposal methods, performs general machine maintenance, and reports repair needs. The role requires accurate measurement, safe tool operation, physical exertion, PPE use, cleanliness, and willingness to work first or second shifts. A high school diploma or equivalent and U.S. Person status for ITAR-controlled information are required.

Conducts materials testing, characterization, data interpretation, and technical report writing for metals, polymers, coatings, and related systems. Supports failure analysis and customer projects using microscopy and laboratory instrumentation. Maintains and calibrates equipment, manages chemical and equipment inventories, follows GLP, ISO, and safety procedures, and assists senior staff with research and testing.
