Design and own LEO satellite constellation architecture, including orbit selection, phasing, coverage, link access, and SLA analysis. Develop propulsion and delta-v budgets for station-keeping, collision avoidance, and de-orbit. Build orbit determination, ephemeris, maneuver-planning, conjunction-screening, and CDM response capabilities. Collaborate with bus, propulsion, RF, and optical teams to translate orbital analysis into mission and hardware requirements, while supporting on-orbit operations and regulatory filings.

Leads optical communications engineering for a LEO data relay constellation. Owns optical ISL and feeder-link architecture, requirements, link budgets, verification, and technical trades. Directs the optical terminal vendor, manages technical performance and NRE decisions, supports integration and testing, and coordinates requirements across spacecraft bus, flight software, and ground teams. Maintains compliance with applicable federal optical communications standards and serves as the sole optical technical authority.

Apolink is seeking interns to work on mission-critical tasks in satellite communication, including assembly, contract negotiation, and calculations in a hands-on environment.
