Focus on performance, accessibility, real-time data, REST integration, design systems, testing, and cross-functional collaboration. Mentor engineers, conduct reviews, and deliver scalable, responsive UIs for field-deployed devices.

Own the Appliance Platform within Device OS, defining roadmap and delivering lifecycle, fleet operations, configuration, infrastructure, and operator tooling to support scalable, reliable, and secure appliance deployment and management across a global fleet.

Design, build, and maintain Python-based systems that interface with custom hardware. Own hardware drivers across serial/USB/I2C/SPI/Modbus, implement maintainable state machines, write async event-driven code, build RESTful APIs, persist device telemetry in SQL, contribute computer vision work, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, and operations while mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards.
