Assists with insulation and general construction site work, including material handling, site preparation, cleanup, equipment setup, insulation measurement and cutting, surface preparation, sealing, covering, and sheet-metal installation. Follows safety, hazardous-waste, PPE, attendance, housekeeping, and drug-testing policies. May work around asbestos, chemicals, dust, noise, hazardous machinery, and elevated or precarious areas.

Manages construction projects from award through completion, overseeing scope, schedules, budgets, manpower, change orders, contracts, quality, safety, invoicing, and financial performance. Serves as the primary customer contact and coordinates clients, architects, engineers, field leadership, internal teams, and contractors. Leads kickoff meetings, monitors KPIs and productivity, communicates project changes, and ensures work complies with customer requirements.

Prepares, blasts, paints, and coats metal, aluminum, concrete, and tank surfaces to military-specification standards. Operates airless spray and plural-component equipment, performs surface preparation, cleans work areas, handles materials, and completes general construction and site-mobilization tasks. The role requires heavy lifting, confined-space work, breathing equipment, climbing, outdoor work, and tolerance of extreme weather. Painters follow safety procedures, work independently, communicate with the foreman, and may continue operations during the foreman’s absence.
