Teams at Animal Friends Humane Society

Leads all daily animal shelter operations, including animal care, population management, veterinary coordination, staffing, intake, adoptions, foster and rescue programs, customer service, facilities, safety, budgets, emergency response, and performance improvement. Supervises operational employees, manages resources and workflows, ensures welfare and compliance standards, coordinates with the Business Director and veterinary professionals, and reports operational results, risks, and recommendations to the Board of Trustees.

Provides senior leadership for business operations, financial management, budgeting, fundraising, human resources, compliance, volunteers, events, community relations, risk management, and organizational systems. Partners with the Board of Trustees and Operations Director to advance strategy, sustainability, accountability, and animal-welfare outcomes. Oversees employees, donors, vendors, partners, grants, communications, and administrative processes while ensuring sound financial controls and effective organizational practices.
