Designs and modifies aircraft mechanical systems using advanced Creo modeling, structural calculations, technical data packages, GD&T, and airworthiness documentation. Manages Windchill configuration and change-control workflows, supports sheet-metal and machining fabrication, and resolves complex design issues independently. Leads and mentors junior engineers and technicians while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. Preferred work includes aircraft weapon stores, naval aviation systems, quality management, FEA, and additive-manufacturing design.

Designs, integrates, tests, and sustains airborne electronic warfare systems and countermeasures for DoD aircraft platforms. Responsibilities include RF and EW research, system architecture, engineering specifications, laboratory, ground, and flight testing, troubleshooting, reliability analysis, and root-cause investigations. The engineer collaborates with technical teams to develop design improvements and support mission-critical fleet systems.

Designs, troubleshoots, and investigates mechanical systems and modifications for DoD aircraft. Responsibilities include resolving aircraft control, hydraulic, fuel, pressurization, and fire-system issues; analyzing component failures; assessing airworthiness and criticality; updating technical publications; preparing engineering documentation; and supporting compliant repairs and system testing. The role also involves reading and creating drawings, estimating repair materials and time, presenting findings, and occasional travel.
