Leads a commercial driver’s license training program, overseeing curriculum, driver trainers, student advising, retention, faculty development, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement. Provides CDL subject-matter expertise, participates in recruitment and orientation, monitors instructional quality, supports at-risk students, and performs full-time driver trainer duties. Maintains compliance with FMCSA, state DMV, institutional, and accreditation requirements while managing faculty performance and program operations.

Leads the CDL program, overseeing curriculum, Driver Trainers, faculty development, student advising, retention, regulatory compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement. Provides CDL subject-matter expertise, supports recruitment and orientation, evaluates faculty performance, resolves personnel issues, and assists with scheduling and budgeting. Performs full-time Driver Trainer duties, including demonstrating vehicle inspections, trailer coupling, maneuvering, and other CDL skills while meeting DOT physical requirements.
