Leads process improvement initiatives in a glass manufacturing facility, particularly the Decorating department. Identifies process leverage points, quantifies benefits, develops implementation plans, and tracks results. The role improves quality, productivity, maintenance, reliability, and HS&E performance while overseeing Kamman & Eldred machines. It also communicates project priorities and progress across the organization and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to drive operational improvements.

Provides electrical engineering support for power and controls in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Manages electrical projects, installations, contractors, shutdowns, troubleshooting, safety compliance, work instructions, maintenance team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role focuses on minimizing equipment downtime, improving production efficiency, and supporting electrical systems including medium-voltage power, substations, PLC-controlled equipment, motors, starters, SCRs, and VFDs.

Analyze and improve glass manufacturing processes by determining optimal operating conditions, conducting experiments and trials, applying Six Sigma and lean methods, troubleshooting equipment, and leading corrective-action teams. The role also manages process documentation and engineering changes, monitors production quality and trends, improves forming productivity, supports safety initiatives, and provides after-hours or weekend operational support.
