Teams at Analytical Mechanics Associates

Provide part-time (≤20 hr/month) senior technical advisory on computational aerothermodynamics, CFD, and M&S; guide integration of machine learning (e.g., surrogate models, PINNs) into workflows; review software/architecture and HPC implementations; mentor engineers; develop strategic roadmaps for advanced simulation and ML techniques.

Perform 3D numerical simulations of internal and external high-speed flows (including multi-species finite-rate chemistry), generate and manage grids, and develop ramjet/scramjet engine and vehicle designs using cycle and Navier–Stokes codes. Support analysis, simulation, and optimization for NASA Langley programs and use commercial and in-house solvers and visualization tools.

Lead and manage rotorcraft aerodynamics wind-tunnel experiments: provide senior technical leadership, ensure safe facility operations, track schedule/budget/performance, establish standards, support rotor model development, conduct aerodynamic/dynamics data analysis, and document and review experimental efforts.
