Facilitates evidence-based CBI Life Skills and Family Relations classes and individual sessions for prison and re-entry program participants. Develops action plans, provides make-up work, evaluates and documents participant progress in ARMS, reinforces participation expectations, and collaborates with correctional and contracted staff. The role requires a Cal MHSA Certified Peer Navigator, strong communication and organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively in a challenging environment.

Conduct individual sessions, develop action plans, provide make-up work, evaluate participant progress, reinforce participation expectations, document services in ARMS, and collaborate with correctional institution staff. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, communicating effectively, adapting to changing circumstances, and supporting participants in a structured community environment.

Supervise and safely monitor students in prison and therapeutic community programs during day and evening shifts. Responsibilities include conducting bed checks, documenting incidents, recognizing substance abuse or overdose symptoms, preventing altercations, supporting emergency evacuations, maintaining facilities and equipment, administering First Aid and CPR, and serving as a positive role model. The role also requires incident reporting, clinical documentation, participation in community activities, and additional training.
