Travel by car to the Globe clinic is required one to two days per week.

Supports retina specialists by collecting patient histories, documenting findings in the EHR, performing preliminary tests, ophthalmic photography, OCTs, and fluorescein dye injections. Scribes provider findings, triages retina emergencies, educates patients, prepares prescriptions and referral letters, maintains exam rooms and supplies, and supports scheduling and clinic flow. The role requires patient-facing communication, sterile technique, attention to detail, and flexibility to travel between locations.

Provides comprehensive medical and surgical retina care at Southwest Eye Institute in El Paso, with potential cases in Las Cruces. The specialist will join a collaborative ophthalmology team supported by surgeons, optometrists, technicians, scribes, and front-office staff. Responsibilities include managing high surgical volumes, delivering quality eye care, participating in referral networks, and using advanced ophthalmic technology. Board certification or eligibility is required; Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required.
