Coordinates planning and execution of Commodity Classic, including attendee experiences, event logistics, marketing communications, education sessions, sponsorship deliverables, stakeholder coordination, calendars, deadlines, and onsite activities. The role manages content, speakers, vendors, agencies, sponsors, and partner associations while supporting reporting, evaluations, and special projects. Travel is required for the annual convention and multiple planning meetings.

Leads advocacy and government affairs for farm production and operations policy, including crop insurance, agricultural assistance, farmland use, property rights, and farm labor. Develops policy documents, public comments, testimony, letters, and advocacy materials; engages lawmakers and industry stakeholders; coordinates with state affiliates; and serves as the organization’s federal on-farm policy liaison. The role requires at least two years of legislative or agricultural policy experience, strong writing and communication skills, and up to 10% travel.
