Provides legal counsel and strategic advice on legislative, regulatory, litigation, and corporate matters affecting the oil and natural gas industry. Drafts legal memoranda, briefs, testimony, regulatory comments, and policy materials; advises internal departments, committees, and member companies; participates in rulemakings and legislative proceedings; supports litigation strategy and judicial proceedings; and collaborates on consensus-building and coalition efforts.

Leads API’s paid media campaigns, strategic partnerships, executive visibility, and industry events to strengthen brand reputation and advocacy influence. Coordinates with communications, policy, government affairs, leadership, member companies, and external stakeholders. Oversees media buying, audience targeting, event strategy, reporting, and external engagement while managing team members and consultants. Represents API at executive-level meetings and public events and provides recommendations on partnership and campaign effectiveness.
