Develops and administers safety programs across American Licorice locations, ensuring OSHA and regulatory compliance. Investigates accidents and near misses, conducts root cause analyses, manages workers’ compensation and risk assessments, delivers safety training, oversees PPE and hazardous waste programs, leads safety committees, and implements corrective actions to promote a zero-accident culture.

Leads manufacturing engineering and maintenance projects from planning through installation and completion. Supports process development, automation, productivity improvements, cost reduction, equipment reliability, and plant safety. Oversees maintenance personnel, develops preventive maintenance programs, manages project timelines and budgets, and applies Lean and Kaizen methods. Provides technical leadership for PLC systems, packaging machinery, conveying equipment, process controls, and manufacturing process improvements.
