Teams at American Iron & Metal (AIM)

Sorts and organizes non-ferrous metals, weighs and tracks incoming materials using the RECY system, maintains the site and equipment, assists customers, operates forklifts, and follows safety practices. The role requires working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, performing physically demanding tasks, and collaborating effectively with the team.

Provides daily administrative support for transport operations, including employee records, timesheets, reporting, document filing, expense accounts, driver invoice payments, cash balancing, and general accounting. Coordinates with dispatchers, site managers, drivers, and HR while supporting compliance and operational deadlines. May substitute for weighbridge clerks or dispatchers when needed.

Reviews and processes supplier invoices, validates charges against purchase orders and receipts, resolves billing discrepancies, reconciles supplier statements, tracks pending transactions, monitors payment schedules, and provides service to internal and external stakeholders. The role requires accounting knowledge, intermediate Excel skills, high transaction-volume management, organization, autonomy, strong communication, and French-English bilingualism.
