Summer internship providing hands-on exposure to construction insurance and surety through projects with Insurance, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, and Claims professionals. Interns learn brokerage operations, receive mentorship, develop professional skills, and complete a capstone presentation. The program is in-office, does not provide relocation or housing assistance, and requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.

Serve as primary client contact for surety bonding; manage submissions and underwriting communications; quality-control client data in Epic, Erlon, and OneDrive; oversee account associate work; resolve accounting/invoice issues; analyze client financial documents; recommend carriers and markets; create proposals and presentations; maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure timely, accurate delivery of surety services.

Supports claims administration, reporting, data reconciliation, loss-trend analysis, documentation, and communications with clients, carriers, adjusters, and internal teams. The role includes structured training toward handling General Liability and Automobile claims, including investigation, coverage review, evaluation, documentation, and resolution. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, participating in client and carrier meetings, handling confidential information, and maintaining required insurance licensing and continuing education.
