Conduct research and policy analysis to develop recommendations supporting First Nations priorities; manage datasets, draft briefing notes and reports, lead stakeholder engagement and consultations, and provide project management for sector-specific initiatives and procurement. Build intergovernmental and community relationships and support strategic planning.

Provide full-cycle HR support including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, payroll/benefits administration, training, disability leave management, offboarding, and HR compliance aligned with AFN policies and Canadian labour law.

Provide administrative and clerical support to the Water Sector Director: manage files and databases, coordinate travel and meetings, prepare correspondence and minutes, process financial paperwork, reconcile budgets, and serve as a contact for internal and external stakeholders.
