Leads daily fabrication shop-floor activities while performing hands-on welding, fitting, and equipment operation. Coordinates workflow, assigns tasks, mentors employees, supports training and onboarding, and resolves operational issues. Inspects fabricated components for quality and drawing compliance, enforces safety and standard procedures, identifies process improvements, and coordinates preventive maintenance for machinery and equipment. Collaborates with production, quality, procurement, engineering, and management teams.

Operate industrial blasting equipment and spray guns to propel steel grit onto metal surfaces before painting. Monitor equipment, regulate automated and manual cycles, move and rack workpieces, inspect and stage finished products, track supplies, maintain blast-area housekeeping, replace screens and filters, and follow safety procedures. The role requires material-handling experience, attention to detail, teamwork, and successful completion of background, drug, and physical screening.
