Develops and manages suppliers for high-quality, cost-effective battery components. Responsibilities include supplier qualification, audits, APQP and PPAP, quality improvement, root-cause analysis, supplier scorecards, manufacturing process development, new product launches, and resolving supplier issues. The role collaborates with engineering, quality, manufacturing, procurement, and customers while ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards and driving continuous improvement.

Designs and releases wiring and battery pack electrical connectivity systems for automotive and industrial applications. Leads harness topology, component packaging, circuit coding, wire-list and DEF file development, load analysis, voltage-drop calculations, connector pin configuration, and circuit protection. Collaborates with systems and BMS hardware engineers, supports requirements management, pre-launch builds, product launches, and program tracking. Requires automotive wire harness design experience, engineering education, and knowledge of low- and high-voltage electrical systems.

Leads system-level electrical architecture and integration for high-voltage lithium-ion vehicle battery systems. Defines requirements, interfaces, specifications, risks, verification plans, and validation activities; coordinates design, manufacturing, suppliers, testing, quality, customers, and program teams. Supports prototype, validation, and production builds, troubleshooting, DFMEA, end-of-line inspection requirements, and electrical system integration. Serves as the electrical systems subject matter expert at the manufacturing plant and travels domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
