Teams at American Association for Justice

Provides legal and policy research, analysis, and drafting related to state legislation affecting the civil justice system. Tracks legislative proposals across all U.S. states and territories, prepares advocacy materials and model legislation, collaborates with allied organizations, communicates policy positions, supports media messaging, and assists with legislative strategy and campaigns.

Coordinates planning and execution of two major annual education conventions serving more than 2,000 attendees each. Manages speaker communications, applications, schedules, materials, travel logistics, databases, attendee records, marketing materials, post-program follow-up, and expense reports. Provides onsite administration and coordinates with hotels, convention centers, faculty, support staff, and internal departments. Requires strong organization, communication, attention to detail, deadline management, and Microsoft Office and database proficiency.

Direct and manage AAJ's continuing legal education (CLE) programs and Education department staff. Lead planning, budgeting, curriculum development, faculty recruitment, vendor relations, and evaluation. Serve as liaison to the NCA Board, implement learning technologies (e-learning, webinars, podcasts, livestreaming), assess member needs, oversee sponsorship/exhibitor opportunities, and collaborate with marketing and membership to recruit and retain members.
