Tests, debugs, and validates power conversion hardware for distributed solar and battery storage systems. Responsibilities include creating verification plans, reviewing schematics and PCB layouts, diagnosing hardware and control failures, conducting high-power testing with laboratory equipment, and developing functional test benches and automated verification tests. The role collaborates with power electronics, systems, and software engineers and requires strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Develop embedded C/C++ firmware and real-time digital control algorithms for AC-DC, DC-DC, DAB, and LLC power converters in battery storage systems. Implement communication protocols, power-point tracking, battery charging, and microgrid controls using DSPs, MCUs, and processors. Debug and validate hardware and firmware with laboratory tools, collaborate with power electronics and systems teams, analyze test results, and document architecture, interfaces, and test methods.

Lead the end-to-end development of behind-the-meter solar and battery storage projects for AI data center campuses. Responsibilities include site selection, financial modeling, permitting, customer technical scoping, interconnection design, RFP responses, contract exhibits, investment recommendations, and eventual team building. The role requires extensive renewable energy development experience, advanced project finance modeling, customer engagement, and experience advancing at least 500 MW of projects to Notice to Proceed or commercial operation.
