The Associate Dean of Culture supports a safe, structured school environment by responding to student behavior incidents, providing de-escalation and restorative interventions, reinforcing school-wide expectations, and supporting student re-entry. The role communicates with families, assists teachers and support staff, documents incidents, tracks interventions, supervises common areas, and helps implement culture and social-emotional learning systems. This entry-level position requires a bachelor's degree, youth-serving experience, strong interpersonal skills, Google Suite proficiency, and fingerprint and reference clearance.

Supports daily school operations by coordinating arrival, dismissal, transitions, events, field trips, meals, enrollment, and family communications. Manages student information systems, packages, mail, supplies, documents, procurement, and administrative workflows. Reinforces safety protocols and supports students, families, and staff. The role requires strong organization, communication, attention to detail, technology skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced school environment.

Manages the school front desk, visitor check-in, entry monitoring, safety protocols, and daily arrival and dismissal logistics. Maintains visitor records, monitors common areas, identifies safety concerns, answers phones, manages email and mail, distributes supplies, supports field trips and packages, and provides administrative assistance to school operations. The role requires professionalism, communication, organization, technology proficiency, and obtaining an NYS security license within 90 days.
