Altium Packaging Benefits Overview

Designs, programs, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots PLC, HMI, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and packaging control systems in a manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment installation and upgrades, backup of PLC programs, failure analysis, safety compliance, continuous improvement, mechanical changes, welding, and mentoring less experienced technicians. The role requires on-site production support, physical work around heat and noise, and possible overtime, weekend, or holiday work.

Manages office and plant administrative operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, payroll processing, recruiting, onboarding, employee attendance, leave administration, customer feedback, and shipping support. The role coordinates production runs, maintains inventory and accounting records, processes payroll corrections, supports employee benefits and leave requests, and assists with hiring. Work occurs in a loud production environment and may require lifting up to 50 pounds and mandatory overtime.

Manage and maintain the Workday HRIS, including configurations, security, integrations, data quality, reporting, audits, testing, and end-user support. Develop reports and dashboards, troubleshoot issues, support Workday releases, train users, document processes, and recommend workflow improvements. Collaborate with HR, payroll, IT, vendors, and project teams on system enhancements and change management while protecting confidential employee data.
