Prepares vehicles for shredding by draining fluids, removing batteries, tires, catalytic converters, mercury switches, and nonconforming materials. Inspects and maintains equipment, positions vehicles, cleans the de-manufacturing area, and follows safety and environmental procedures. May operate forklifts, loaders, excavators, and other machinery, perform basic maintenance, and assist with general facility labor.

Performs truck-scale cashiering and clerical operations, including verifying vehicles, materials, weights, prices, and customer payments. Manages cash-office activities, tickets, checks, payment documentation, filing, data entry, reports, incoming calls, and customer inquiries. Maintains accurate records and supports yard operations under the Yard Manager.

Performs truck-scale administrative duties, including verifying vehicles, materials, weights, tickets, payments, and customer information. Manages cash-office activities, files payment documentation, sorts and totals material tickets, processes checks, answers calls, provides directions, and enters data. Develops and manages reports while providing courteous service to customers and employees.
