Lead evaluation and prototyping of robotics communication middleware (e.g., Zenoh), design zero-copy/shared-memory messaging on NVIDIA Jetson, optimize serialization, memory layout, and transport, develop benchmarking for latency/throughput/CPU/GPU, collaborate with engineering teams, and document recommendations for production middleware.

Lead bring-up of AMD x86 APU on custom board: enable display subsystem (GPU drivers, HDMI/DP), port and stabilize Android AOSP, collaborate with AMD, validate APU/GPU performance and thermal characteristics, and support proof-of-concept delivery and documentation.

Bring up AMD Versal SoC on a custom board, integrate and validate programmable-logic IP and AXI interfaces, implement IPC between Versal cores and an AMD APU (RPMsg/OpenAMP/shared memory), develop BSP and drivers, use Vitis/Petalinux/Yocto toolchains, and validate real-time latency and throughput across PL-PS-APU boundaries.
