Administer and troubleshoot Linux/RHEL servers, DNS/DDI infrastructure, and VMware systems in a NASA operational environment. Automate configuration and maintenance with Ansible and scripting, support Cisco Software Defined Networking, perform patching, upgrades, backups, audits, monitoring, and performance tuning. Create technical documentation and collaborate with network engineers, application teams, and administrators. The position is onsite at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center and requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Provides on-site network engineering for NASA Armstrong’s mission network. Responsibilities include administering and troubleshooting LAN/WAN infrastructure, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP; configuring network devices and connected appliances; managing certificates and encryption; maintaining network documentation, IP records, configurations, inventories, and CMDB data; supporting cybersecurity compliance; coordinating with technical teams; and providing status updates and occasional after-hours mission support.

Plans and executes spacecraft power subsystem integration and test campaigns, develops EGSE and automated test stations, performs flight hardware testing, documents procedures and results, and investigates anomalies to root cause. The role requires hands-on circuit debugging, power electronics knowledge, Python-based instrument control, and coordination with engineering teams and vendors. This is a 100% on-site position in Pasadena, California, supporting flight hardware through June 2027 or potential extension.
